Eligibility

In order to be eligible for the Canada Summer jobs Program applicants need to be legally entitled to work in Canada (Canadian citizen, permanent resident or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act), a full-time student during the previous academic year, returning to school full-time for the next academic year and between the ages of 15 and 30 at the start of the employment.


As AWARE works with local events to reduce waste generated and to ensure that diversion is maximised we are seeking out a small team of dedicated Waste Heroes!

This is a casual, on-call paid position which is based around event calendars.  Training is provided but knowledge of waste issues is an asset and a passion for waste reduction is essential.
