About Whistler’s GoByBike

This Fall, GoByBike is two weeks where we’re focused on using our bikes to commute to work, to school, or for daily trips and errands. Whistler has been an avid participant in GoByBike Week over the years, seeing a huge turnout among our community of bikers and attracting new riders. Make the most of the last few weeks of snow-free weather, and sign up to this Fall’s #GoByBike! Plus once the snow falls, don’t worry – you can switch to the bus instead!

With earlier sunsets these days, it’s important to stay safe while we #GoByBike. When you register online or stop by the Whistler Farmers Market through September, you get free LED bike lights! (Can’t make it on the weekend? Head to the Municipality front desk during the week – but remember, you can only register online or at the Farmers Market!)

There are tons of benefits when we #GoByBike. They aren’t limited to cool prizes – biking is also good for your physical health, your mental health, and the health of our community and environment. If you’re biking for work, you can even sign up for free underground parking. Choose to bike instead of drive and enjoy these benefits and more – plus, you’ll get entered to win some awesome prizes!

The Association of Whistler Area Residents for the Environment (AWARE) is excited to again be partnering with the Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) and the GoByBike BC Society to deliver GoByBike Week in Whistler.

Thank you to our partners and sponsors in this year’s Go By Bike Initiative
