Zero Waste Living Workshop Series: Upcycled Designs with Terri Gercovich from Re:creation

Upcycle second-hand treasures into a beautiful bracelet. In this workshop we will be taking inspiration from the design pictured on the right.

What is upcycling? Upcycling is the process of transforming by-products, waste materials, useless, or unwanted products into new materials or products of better quality or for better environmental value.

All materials will be provided. Please note that we will be using scrap leather, but vegan friendly options will be available.

Join us at one or all four of our Zero Waste Living Workshops! This series of workshops aims to showcase some of the many ways in which we can reduce the amount of waste we create in our everyday lives, while also finding unique ways to re-imagine our ‘waste’ as a valuable resource instead of trash. The Zero Waste Living Workshop Series was made possible thanks to funding from the Resort Municipality of Whistler’s Community Enrichment Program and our venue sponsor the Whistler Public Library.
