Emma spent many years traveling and working around the world before moving from Thailand to Canada in 2012, where she worked as a scuba diving instructor. During her time in Asia Emma developed an even deeper love for the ocean and all its marine life, but also witnessed the negative impact human consumption has on our environment. She has been a passionate advocate for sustainable living ever since.
Emma has been involved with AWARE since moving to Whistler, and became a board member in 2017. Single use items and climate change deniers are two of Emma’s least favorite things, while biking, skiing and adventuring with her dog are some of her favorite ways to spend her time.
